Power Belt is good for all! It allows you to practice all your skills, drills and conditioning and you don’t have to miss a beat. Since when can you still Stunt, Tumble, or Jump with resistance helping you become a stronger athlete while still being able to participate in practice?
Tumbling – The Power Belt makes your really reach and stretch in your tumbling. If you are not doing so, you will be made aware quickly. If your a powerful tumbler, by adding the extra resistance it will help you develop even more as you increase your skills. Take the belt off and watch how free and light you feel. The Power Belt is not only used for power production, but to help athletes and coaches find weaknesses that may exist.
Jumps – The Power Belt makes the athlete have a solid swing or load with their arms. If they are not tight then the arms will bend. This is great feedback for both the athlete and the coach! The legs will make you jump harder to get to the top but wait. You have to really pull your ankles together. Having an opposite force push against what you are trying to do, not only makes you aware but causes your neuro-pathways to think and try harder!
Stunting – The Power Belt allows Stunter’s/Base’s to still perform all their stunts. Adding weight and resistance just means when it is off their should be no problem holding the flyer up! Unless of course the flyer needs a little work on the COMPLETE FLYER. I do not recommend any type of cradling actions. Single man pop downs, squish, shove wrap, etc. are the best dismounts if using during stunting!
Fitness – Everyone conditions toward the end of a practice! Strap on the Power Belt and make it more fun! By Fun I mean they have to work extra hard to achieve greatness. Nothing ever worth having comes easy. Your Athletes get to show their dedication to their team by pushing through some of the toughest actions! The power Belt is extremely useful for the Athletes who say these exercises are too easy! We do not feel them? I promise they will once they put on the Power Belt!
Power Belt Overall is best used to help athletes improve on their conditioning and to create additional awareness where they may not be pushing through their skill! As your Athlete improves, you need to increase their resistance! The purpose behind the belt is to make athletes work a little harder during their skills.
